Extremely poor service and zero communication

Extremely poor service and zero communication. I ordered on the 14th December and it didn't arrive until the 8th January! My email chaser sent on the 4th January didn't get a response until the 12th February! They then offered a 15% off voucher - as if I would ever order from them again! Seems to me that they got greedy and accepted far more orders than they could possibly fulfill over Christmas. So the result is a huge number of negative comments and a broad customer base (including myself) who will never use them again on principle.

Boroughbox Failure.

Very disappointed. Ordered two hampers to one address before Christmas. one arrived, the other didnt. Cannot get any response from Boroughbox.
Rumour has it that they have gone bankrupt.

Waste of time, no communication and no delivery.

Ordered a gift for a birthday and used the pre-order date to specify when it was needed. The order didn't arrived yesterday when it was due, and hasn't arrived today. I received a shipping email at 10pm the evening before it was due to be delivered, but the courier website still shows the parcel with the sender. No response to my email to Boroughbox on their requested email address for queries. First and last time I use them. If you want something delivered when you need it, don't go near them.
UPDATE - They did reply apologising for failing to deliver having changed their delivery policy between my order and the delivery date, and have offered a refund of the delivery charge, but I can't see me testing their services again.

I'm glad I found a service to send a last minute non-flower delivery for my sister's birthday. The box looked good and undamaged, and I think it's a good value for the contents and delivery service.

Brilliant customer service

Brilliant customer service, they were really quick to respond and swapped out some of the products in the gift box I ordered because of dietary requirements. Was so easy to order, the delivery arrived quickly and recipients loved the gift boxes

Bad customer care - not clear on deliveries

On Sunday I was looking for a same-day delivery chocolate. I was obviously unable to find one, but found this website which made it sound that any orders delivered during the weekend (before noon on Monday) will be delivered on Monday. That was my error for misunderstanding, but I still find the wording used misleading.
On Monday, when I wanted to find out if my package will be delivered that day, I sent an email and received a response very quickly telling me it will be sent on Monday and delivered on Tuesday. I was happy with that.
On Monday evening I received an email telling me the package has been dispatched to Yodl, with a tracking number.
On Tuesday I went to track the package, but it said it hasn't left yet. I contacted Yodl, who told me they have not yet received the package and that I have to contact Boroughbox.
I then sent an urgent email asking them to confirm that the package was going to be delivered on Tuesday as promised - and if it wasn't - to tell me, because it was important for me to know if not - as I would have had to arrange something else for that day. That email was not replied to.
Throughout Tuesday I sent 2 more urgent emails begging to give me an indication if it is going to be delivered on Tuesday or not.
At midnight - I received an email from Yodl telling me they received the package (i.e. it couldn't have been delivered on Tuesday, because borough box didn't actually dispatch it on time) and that it will be delivered on Wednesday.
If they would have just responded to my email on Tuesday and told me it's delayed by one day - they could have saved me a lot of time and money.
One more piece of advice to BoroughBox: When you are responding to a backlog of emails - go chronologically and not backwards - you replied to my three emails in reverse order, which was senseless. As was the fact that you replied to each of my emails individually - which, to be honest, infuriated me! All of your replies were after Yodl have already confirmed delivery time for the package and I found your response to be highly unprofessional!
I will never use their services again.
P.S. None of the things I'm complaining about are Covid-related! If they could have responded within an hour to my email on Monday, they could have responded to my urgent emails on Tuesday too. I didn't have an issue with the delay- just with not being informed about it.

Hamper arrived without key contents

Ordered a prosecco hamper for a friend’s birthday and it turned up without any prosecco in it! Hugely expensive amount to pay for two packs Of biscuits and some fudge. Really disappointed.
